Miniature space odyssey about scale and perspective.
“Above” is a miniature space odyssey that toys with scale and perspective. This challenging/rewarding personal project is a study of texture, atmosphere, and proceduralism. My second personal short (1st being “Macro”), proved again to be a tremendous experience for artistic growth and technical proficiency. Starting off as an exercise to become familiar with Houdini’s terrain generation tools, this project progressed into a piece that is inching ever closer to quieting my inner creative demons :).
